NE-10 POSTSEASON OUTLOOKThe top five teams in the Southwest Division advance to the 2015-16 Northeast-10 Conference Championship. Southern Connecticut is currently tied in second place, along with Le Moyne and Adelphi, with a conference mark of 10-9. This season, the Owls split with Le Moyne, but loss twice to Adelphi. The Owls still have one game against Pace before finding out the final rankings for the tournament.

Kate Lynch is now two games away from recording her 100th win as a head coach.
SCOUTING PACE• Pace enters Tuesday's game with only six conference wins and is averaging only 57.0 points and 37.5 rebounds per game.
• Christina Rubin leads the team averaging 13.7 points per game while shooting 53.8 percent from the field. She also averages 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
• Pace is ranked second in the league in three-point attempts per game (18.9) and blocks per game (4.7).
• Kristen Dodge leads the team in rebounding with 7.0 rebounds per game as well as posts 2.0 block and 9.0 point per game for the Setters.
• Pace is fourth in the league in three-points made per game (5.8) and opponent field goal percentage (36.8%).
ALL-TIME VS. PACEEntering the 2015-16 season, the Owls led the Setters in the all-time series with a record of 21-17. However, since the Owls won once already this season the record is now 22-17.
PREVIOUSLY VS. PACETen different Owls scored for the Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team in its 82-48 victory over Northeast-10 Conference foe Pace University at Moore Field House back on December 12.
WEEK 14 RECAPSouthern Connecticut posted a 2-0 record in week 13 as the Owls defeated New Haven, 69-52, and Le Moyne, 68-57.

Jackie Beathea recorded her career-high 17th double-double with a team-high 16 points and 18 rebounds to go along with an assist, a block and a steal over 38 minutes of play.

Danielle Powell registered 14 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the field and 2-of-2 shooting from the line as well as chipped in with five rebounds, three assists and two blocks.

Taylor McLaughlin registered a season-high five assists while collecting 12 points, three rebounds and a block for the Owls.
STATS BREAKDOWN VS. LE MOYNE• Junior
Maria Weselyj led the Owls' offense with a team-high 17 points, just seven shy of her career-high 24 points, as well as chipped in with two rebounds, an assist and a steal over 27 minutes of play. She ended the day shooting 5-of-8 from the floor, 1-of-2 from behind the arc and 6-of-6 from the free throw line.

Jackie Beathea registered a career-high 18 double-doubles, 11 points and 10 rebounds, while posting a single steal against the Dolphins.

Jackie Beathea set a new SCSU single game-high in rebounds with 22. She posted 10 rebounds in the first half and 12 rebounds in the second half.
BEATHEA RECORDS 1,000 CAREER REBOUNDOn January 2, 2016,
Jackie Beathea recorded another major achievement as an Owl as she recorded her 1,000th career rebound at Le Moyne. Following this accomplishment, she now leads SCSU in the all-time records books in rebounding.

LYNCH NOTEKate Lynch '08 begins her first full season as head coach for the Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team. Lynch has compiled a 81-65 overall record as a head coach. Lynch remains the all-time leading scorer in Owls' history (1,779 points) and ranks fifth all-time in rebounds (650).
IN THE POLLSSouthern Connecticut was selected fourth in the Southwest Division according to the Northeast-10 Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.

LOOKING BACK ON THE SEASON THAT WASThe Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team closed the regular season with 14 wins and qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament. The Owls had one student-athlete recognized by the league with year-end honors.
BEATHEA NAMED ALL-NE-10For the third year in a row,
Jackie Beathea earned All-Conference honors after an impressive season as she led the Owls in scoring with 384 points and rebounds with 323. She also recorded 16 double-doubles.
AMONG THE NE-10 LEADERSAmongst the returners, the Owls had three players finish in the top five of Northeast-10 Conference participants in four categories.
