The Southern Connecticut State University women's volleyball team returns home after being on the road for the first two weeks of the season and welcomes Bloomfield College and Queens (N.Y.) College to Pelz Gymnasium for a pair of non-conference matches on Tuesday and Friday evening.

JADUS BREAKS SINGLE-GAME RECORD IN TOTAL ATTEMPTS
Following the 3-1 win over Valdosta State,
Leanna Jadus not only broke the SCSU single-game record in total attempts with 69, but she also tied her single-game high record of 20 kills, ranking her third overall.
NIMZ COLLECTS SEASON-HIGH VS. VALDOSTA ST.
Just shy of her tying her career-high 49 assists,
Alexandra Nimz recorded a season-high 39 assists in the win over Valdosta St.

JADUS NAMED CT ARMY NATIONAL GUARD / SCSU ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (9/16)
Sophomore
Leanna Jadus was named the Connecticut Army National Guard/Southern Connecticut State University Athletes of the Week. Jadus led the Owls in kills and digs during their season-opening weekend. She registered double digits in kills in each of Southern's four matches, including a double-double with 15 kills and 10 digs in a win over Molloy.
