NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team fell to Saint Anselm College this afternoon, 85-70.

INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES
Jerry Luckett, Jr. - 22 points and nine rebounds.
Michael Mallory - 18 points and four rebounds.
Isaiah McLeod  - 13 points and eight rebounds.
Joey Wallace - 10 points, four assists, four steals and two rebounds.

FIRST HALF
The Owls got off to an early 6-0 lead in the opening minutes. Saint Anselm grabbed a 32-23 lead, sparked by a 9-0 run with 7:58 to play in the first half. The Hawks would go head into the half with a 43-31 lead. Senior Michael Mallory (Waterbury, Conn.) led the Owls in scoring with 14 points in 18 minutes of play. Sophomore Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) finished the first half with eight points and four rebounds. 

SECOND HALF
Junior Jerry Luckett, Jr (Milwaukee, Wisc.) would open up the second half with a jump shot that trimmed the Hawks' deficit, 43-33. Saint Anselm would control the lead for the remainder of the game en route to a 85-70 win.

REBOUND SHY OF HIS 7TH DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Jerry Luckett, Jr. was a rebound shy of posting his seventh career double-double on the year with 22 points and nine rebounds.
