EWING, N.J. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's swimming and diving team dropped a 189-100 decision to The College of New Jersey today.
NOTABLE FINISHERS

Leonardo LaPorte (Washingtonville, N.Y.) led the Owls today with a third place finish in the 200 butterfly, with a time of 2:02.06, and a second place finish in the 100 butterfly, with a time of 54.03.

Tyler Prescott (Meriden, Conn.), junior
Drew Dantino (Waterbury, Conn.) and senior
Tyler Vander Vos (South Windsor, Conn.) placed second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:40.28.
- Prescott recorded two second place finishes in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.94 and in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:00.04.

Bryce Murad (New Haven, Conn.) had a strong day, placing second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.70 and third in the 100 butterfly with a time of 56.18.

Matthew Widlar (Middlebury, Conn.) placed second in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:22.78 and third in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.72.
