Greenway-Tambini (Nottingham, England) scores a brace of goals to push the Owls past the Purple Knights. The striker tallied the eighth and ninth goals of the 2017 campaign putting him second in the conference in points and third in the conference in goals.
FIRST HALF
It took thirty minutes for the Owls to break the deadlock as senior Louis Greenway-Tambini (Nottingham, England) scored as he dribbled to the right side of the net and slotted the ball past the goaltender into the bottom right corner. The Purple Knights out shot the Owls in the first half 7-5, but the Owls defense would stand tall as the score remained 1-0.
SECOND HALF
The match would remain 1-0 until the 81st minute when Louis Greenway-Tambini scored dribbling to the left side of the net and blasted the ball near post to extend the Owls lead, 2-0. Saint Michael's would respond with a goal of their own off a corner to bring the Owls lead down to one in the 87th minute. Southern would hold off the Purple Knight's late surge to secure the 2-1 victory.
