HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first half was a tight affair in the early going until the Golden Knights went on a 11-2 run to a build a 39-26 lead. The Owls would answer with a 9-0 run of their own to finish out the first half and cut the deficit to 39-35.
- The Owls extended their spurt with a 7-2 run to take a 42-41 lead with 16:45 left. However, the Golden Knights took the lead two possessions later and didn't trail again the rest of the way. SCSU closed the gap to four points with under seven minutes to go before the visitors pulled away late.
