Owls would score two minutes later off a penalty kick; freshman Ignasi Cererols (Barcelona, Spain) scored the tying goal, the first of his collegiate career.

The game would stay deadlocked at one until the 76th minute when the Owls team captain Louis Greenway-Tambini (Nottingham, England) scored off a cross from freshman Kevin Van der Pol (Drammen, Buskerud, Norway) to give the Owls a 2-1 lead.
