NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team notched a 1-0 win over Stonehill college. The Owls remain undefeated in conference play.

Senior Louis Greenway-Tambini (Nottingham, England) scored the game winning goal to push the Owls past Stonehill, his fifth on the year.
FIRST HALF
Scoreless in the first half, Owls created more opportunities to give them an edge in shots, 7-4. Greenway-Tambini took five shots in the first half as he had most of the Owls chances.
SECOND HALF
The Owls kept shooting in the second half as they totaled 10 shots in the second half to finally get a goal in the 87th minute off the left foot of Greenway-Tambini, cross came from senior
Sabri Akter (Unionville, Conn.) to record his first assist of the season.
Senior
Noah Varonier (Miller Place, N.Y.) recorded two saves in his third shutout of the 2017 campaign.
