HOW IT HAPPENED
The Owls started strong with an early goal in the 11
th minute, a through ball passed by freshman
Ignasi Cererols (Barcelona, Spain) for a one touch shot by senior Louis Greenway-Tambini (Nottingham, England) into the right side of the goal to give the Owls the lead. The Owls would breakdown defensively as the Penmen would score to tie the game at one in the 26
th minute of play.
Five minutes later southern would score their second goal of the game sophomore
Devante Teixeira (Boston, Mass.) scored off a cross from Greenway-Tambini. That would turn out to be the game-winning goal to remain undefeated in conference play.
Greenway-Tambini recorded a goal and an assist in tonights win to put him at six goals on the year. Devante Teixeira had the game winning goal for his second of the year to put him second in points of the team.
