FIRST HALF
The Owls scored two goals in the first ten minutes of the game. Sophomore
Devante Teixeira (Boston, Mass.) scored off a pass to the left wing from Senior Louis Greenway-Tambini (Nottingham, England) to give the Owls a 1-0 lead. Sophomore
James Foster (Niantic, Conn.) recorded the first goal of his collegiate career off a defensive steal by Greenway-Tambini. The Owls would score one more before the half, freshman Lucas Szymecki (Wethersfield, Conn.) notched the first goal of his collegiate career off of a through ball from Greenway-Tambini.
SECOND HALF
The Owls would give up a goal at the start of the second half to make the score 3-1. Greenway-Tambini scored his second goal of the season from a failed clear on a corner to bring the Owls lead back to three. Senior
Sabri Akter (Unionville, Conn.) would score his first goal of the 2017 campaign from a one-two pass from Teixeira to beat the defense giving the Owls the 5-1 lead.
Louis Greenway-Tambini recorded three assists and one goal in tonight's game to give the Owls its second win of the 2017 campaign.
