NEW HAVEN, Conn. -  Jerry Luckett, Jr. (Milwaukee, Wisc.) posted a career-high 31 points as the Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team dropped a 96-80 decision to Stonehill.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Owls played well in the first half and carried a 52-40 lead going into halftime. SCSU finished the first half with a 19-5 run to take the 12-point lead.

-The Skyhawks second half surge would give them the win, as they outscored the Owls' 56-28 in the second half. Stonehill shot 69-percent from the field to come back from a 12-point deficit and take the lead.

The Owls will head to Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, Jan. 17, with tip off set for 7:30 p.m.
