NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University men's swimming and diving team ousted Le Moyne in today's meet, 147-134.

KEY PERFORMERS
- The Owls started off with a first place finish in the 200 medley. The quartet of Tyler Castellone (South Windsor, Conn.), Dominic Papiro (Southbury, Conn.), Leonardo LaPorte (Washingtonville, N.Y.) and Tyler Vander Vos (South Windsor, Conn.) recorded a time of 1:38.70, while the quartet of Ethan Dolan (Little Elm, Texas), Matthew Widlar (Middlebury, Conn.), Bailey Peters (Rutland, Vt.) and Bryce Murad (New Haven, Conn.) finished third with a time of 1:41.35.

- The Owls had top three finishes from Tyler Steskla (Cheshire, Conn.), Bryce Castellone (South Windsor, Conn.) and Evan Bombery (Naugatuck, Conn.) in the 1000 freestyle. Steskla finished first with a time of 10:11.33 while teammate Castellone finished second with a time of 10:13.66 and Bombery finished third with a time of 10:14.86.

- Murad took home first place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 54.09 and Bryce Castellone finished second with a time of 54.50.

- Max Padro (West Haven, Conn.) and Lucas Fanucci (Malvern, Pa.) had top-three finishes in the 200 butterfly, Padro placed first with a time of 1:55.71 and Fanucci finished third with a time of 2:03.00.

- Vander Vos took home first place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.47, while Murad registered a third place finish with a time of 22.06.

- Tahj Mitchell-Westberry (Middletown, Conn.) took first place in the one-meter dive (189.60) and three-meter dive (194.75).

- Ethan Dolan (Little Elm, Texas) notched a first place finish in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:00.93.

- Graeden Sartoris (South Windsor, Conn.) registered a first place finished in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:55.46.

The Owls will host Saint Rose on Friday Jan. 19, with the meet set to start at 5 p.m.
