HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Skyhawks opened the game with a 7-0 run, but the Owls quickly bounced back with a 7-0 run of their own to tie the game midway through the first quarter. They would finish the frame with a 17-9 lead over Stonehill.
 
- SCSU opened the second frame with momentum from their late first quarter push as they held the lead until late in the second quarter. Stonehill would battle back and briefly claim the lead before the Owls offense responded with a 5-0 run. Both teams would go into halftime deadlocked at 30 points each.
 
- Stonehill began the third frame with a 7-2 run, while the Owls attempted to chip away at their lead. The end of the third quarter saw the Skyhawks up by nine.
 
- Both squads had productive fourth quarters offensively, but a big third quarter for the Skyhawks proved to be the difference maker as they collected the 63-52 victory.
