Africa Williams tallied a team-high 17 points as the Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team lost to No. 5 nationally-ranked Bentley, 64-48 this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bentley jumped on the board early in the game going on a 9-3 run in the first two and a half minutes of play. The Owls would battle back and briefly gain a one point lead, but the Falcons would end the first quarter up by three.
- SCSU started the second frame hot as they went on an 8-0 run early to capture the lead from the Falcons. Bentley would counterattack with a 14-0 run to jump back ahead of the Owls. They would take an eight-point lead into halftime.
- Both teams traded points in the third frame, but Bentley was able to stabilize the tempo of the game to maintain their lead finishing the third quarter up by seven.
- Four minutes into the final frame Bentley found a groove and went on a 12-0 run, neutralizing the Owls offense. The Falcons aggressive play in the second half of the fourth quarter proved to be the difference maker as Bentley took the 64-48 win at home.
