Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) recorded his fourth double-double of the season as a balanced effort pushed the Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team past Assumption College, 77-64.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Owls took a 9-5 lead over the Greyhounds in the first three minutes of the game. The Greyhounds would climb back to come in within one point of Southern three minutes later.
- SCSU jumped out to an eight-point lead midway through the first half. The Owls extended the lead to as many as 13 in the first half and would go into halftime with a 36-28 lead.
- A neck-and-neck affair in the second half kept the Owls lead in double-digits. The Owls would go on a 6-0 run, with
Bernard Brantley scoring four of the six, to extend the lead to 16 points with just under nine minutes left to play.
- SCSU led for practically the entire game as five Owls reached double-digits in a 13 points win.
