HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Owls jumped on the board early going on an 8-3 run, but the Penmen counterattacked with a 5-0 run of their own. SCSU would finish the first quarter on top, 11-8.
- The second frame saw the Penmen elevate their offense where they went on a 15-0 run in a four minute span. SNHU finished the quarter with the lead 38-21 at halftime.
- SCSU closed the gap in the third quarter, where it outscored SNHU, 15-11.
- The Owls came within 10 points in the closing minutes of the game, but a strong 30-point second quarter from the Penmen was enough distance to secure the win.
