HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first quarter saw the lead teeter six times as both teams found their offensive groove, but the Hawks finished the opening frame up by three points, 17-14.
- Saint Anselm would go on an 13-7 run to earn a nine-point lead by the end of the second frame, 30-21.
- The Hawks took their first double-digit lead of the game opening the third quarter with a good jump shot. They would extend their lead to 15 points with 4:14 remaining in the frame, their largest of the game thus far. Saint Anselm would finish the third quarter up by 12 points, 47-35.
- The Owls attempted to chip away at the Saint Anselm lead, but the Hawks offense continued to battle and earned the 67-53 victory in Manchester.
