Women's Swimming and Diving Competed Against Iona College

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The Southern Connecticut State University women's swimming and diving team scored 74 points in the meet against Iona College.

NOTABLE PERFORMERS

Avery Fornaciari (Plymouth, Mass.) took first place in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:11.33 and finished second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 59.94.
Three Owls placed second third and fourth in the 500 freestyle. Jordan Thompson (Cambell Hall, N.Y.) finished second with a time of 5:27.58, Alina Tucker (Bellmore, N.Y.) placed third with a time of 5:31.18 and Lauren Spencer (North Haven, Conn.) took third with a time of 5:36.63.
Thompson placed third in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:06.61.
Tucker finished third in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:00.00 and third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.49.
Isabel Williams (Woodbury, Conn.) and Arielle Eighmy (Milford, Conn.) claimed first and second play in the 1-meter dive, Williams placed first with a score of 188.32 and Eighnmy placed second with a score of 151.95.
Rebekah Lockery (Stamford, Conn.) finished third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:33.91.
Eighnmy finished first in the 3-meter dive with a score of 150.97.
The quartet of Thompson, Tucker, Megan Garner (Hamden, Conn.) and Emily Wolfe (Havertown, Pa.) finished third in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:51.41.
