C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) registered a team-high 22 points as the Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team grabbed its Northeast 10 Conference win of the 2018-19 campaign, 87-64, against Saint Rose at Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.

NOTABLE FACTS
- Luke Beesley recorded his first double-double of the 2018-19 campaign with 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. It was the first double-double for the Owls since Feb. 20, 2018 when Taurus Adams had 18 points and 10 rebounds against Pace.
- C.J. Seaforth scored a career-high 22 points for his first 20-point performance of his collegiate career.
- Kealan Ives populated the stat sheet with 18 points, six rebounds and a team-leading seven assists.
- As a team, the Owls did most of their damage from long range as they hit on 11-of-18 from behind the three-point line. Seaforth led the way with a 5-for-8 showing from downtown.
- It was also the first time the Owls featured five different players in double figures since Feb. 12, 2018 against Jefferson.
FIRST HALF
- The Owls' offense exploded out of the gate on a 27-8 run in the first nine minutes of play on the back of McLeod and Ives each scoring seven points during that stretch.
- The Golden Knights went on a 14-5 run to bring the Owls lead down to four. However, Southern countered with a 9-0 run, highlighted by seven points from Seaforth, over the last three minutes of play. Seaforth knocked down back-to-back three-pointers to give the Owls a 50-35 lead heading into the half.
SECOND HALF
- Southern started the second half with a 12-0 run to increase its lead to 25 points as the Owls held the Golden Knights scoreless for the first six minutes of the second frame. The Owls cruised the rest of they way, holding a lead of no less than 15 points down the stretch.
