OWLS HOST TWO CONFERENCE GAMES THIS WEEK
The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team went 1-1 last week in non-conference play, capped off by an 81-69 win against Caldwell at home. The Owls begin the week against University of New Haven on Wednesday, Nov.28 for a 7:30 p.m. showing at James Moore Field House. Southern continues conference play as it hosts Adelphi University on Saturday, Dec. 1, with the game set to start at 3:30 p.m. at James Moore Field House.

The Chargers lead the Owls in the all-time series, 44-42.

THE OWLS LAST TIME OUT
• Four Owls scored in double figures as the Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team defeated Caldwell, 81-69, in a non-conference match-up at James Moore Field House. 
C.J. Seaforth finished with 18 points and six assists while Luke Beesley had 18 points and six rebounds. Ulyen Coleman had 14 in the Owls' win, while Michael Mozzicato had 13 points. 
• Mozzicato's 13 points, on 3-for-5 shooting from beyond the arc, were a career-high for the first-year Owl in his sixth career game. He previously tallied 10 points against Post on Nov. 10. 
Kealen Ives posted nine assists, besting his previous career-best of seven against Post. The senior guard also grabbed five rebounds. 
• Seaforth's 18 points were also a career-best, topping his 13-point showing against Le Moyne. 
• The Owls held a lead for the entire game for the second time this season. They previously dominated play in a Northeast Conference win at Saint Rose on Nov. 14. 
• As a team, the Owls shot 50.9% (28-55) from the floor including 44.8% (13-29) from three-point range. The Owls also converted on 12-of-13 attempts from the free throw line. 
• The Owls' 13 three-pointers matched a season-best it hit on against University of the Sciences on Nov. 11. Of their 13 three-pointers, the Owls converted on 9-of-16 in the first half. • SCSU has now knocked down double-digit three-pointers in four of its six games this season.

THE OWLS IN THE NE10
• Kealan Ives ranks 13th in scoring at 16.5 points per game while his 6.2 assists per game ranks second in the NE10.
Luke Beesley's 8.7 rebounds per game rank fourth in the NE10 while his 71.9% field-goal percentage ranks second. 
Ulyen Coleman's 18 three-pointers are the fourth-most in the conference.

THREE-POINT SHOOTING KEY TO OWLS GAME

• The Owls' 13 three-pointers against Caldwell matched their season-best they they hit against the University of the Sciences on Nov. 11.
• Of their 13 three-pointers, the Owls converted on 9-of-16 in the first half.
• Southern has now knocked down double-digit three-pointers in four of its six games this season.


NEWCOMERS HIT CAREER MARKS
