Women's Swimming and Diving Complete Meet Against Yale University

RESULTS

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University women's swimming and diving team competed against Yale University at Hutchinson Natatorium.

NOTABLE FINISHERS

The quartet of Morgan Fernald (Belfast, Maine), Meaghan Spagnolo (Waterbury, Conn.), Emily Wolfe (Havertown, Pa.) and Jordan Thompson (Campbell Hall, N.Y.) placed second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:40.74.
Rebekah Lockery (Stamford, Conn.) placed third in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:00.01 followed by Avery Fornaciari (Plymouth, Mass.) in fourth with a time of 11:00.80.
In the 200 freestyle Alina Tucker (Bellmore, N.Y.) finished third with a time of 2:01.52, Lauren Spencer (North Haven, Conn.) placed fourth with a time of 2:05.17.
Tucker claimed third in the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.41 and Megan Garner (Hamden, Conn.) placed fourth with a time of 26.42.
Wolfe came in third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:21.41 along with Lindsey Fitzgerald (Wallingford, Conn.) who came in fourth with a time of2:25.10.
Trio of Owls fared well in the 100 butterfly as Erin Leirey (Lake Katrine, N.Y.) came in second with a time of 1:02.82, Shannon Blakeslee (Wallingford, Conn.) placed third with a time of 1:03.85 and Fernald finished fourth with a time of 1:04.67.
Wolfe finished third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 57.13 followed by Tucker who came in fourth with a time of58.11.
Garner placed third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.69 and Hannah Morse (Loveland, Colo.) came in fourth with a time of 1:04.30.
Nicole Cislo () finished third in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:14.03 and teammate Lockery took fourth with a time of 1:14.41.
Isabel Williams (Woodbury, Conn.) finished third in both the 1-meter (175.95) and 3-meter dive (196.29). Arielle Eighmy (Milford, Conn.) placed fourth in the 1-meter (161.55) and 3-meter dive (164.63).
