NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team falls to No. 6 nationally ranked Southern New Hampshire University in a 4-2 contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Penmen opened the scoring in the 12th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Owls responded in the 36th minutes as
Devante Teixeira (Boston, Mass.) received a pass from
Francisco Roldan Martin (Malaga, Spain) and took a shot that was slotted past the goalie to tie the game at one all.
- Southern took the lead just before the half at the 40:08 mark as Teixeira dribbled past a defender and shot a screamer into the top left corner of the goal, 2-1.
- In the second half, the Penmen scored three unanswered goals to take the 4-2 win.
