NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Junior
Dexter Tenn (South Windsor, Conn.) scored the game-winning goal as the Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team cruised past Concordia to claim the 3-1 win.

- The Clippers got on top early as they scored a goal in the eighth minute of the game to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Owls responded 15 minutes later as sophomore
Francisco Roldan Martin (Malaga, Spain) scored off a cross from junior
Devante Teixeira (Boston, Mass.) to tie the game at one all.Â
- Southern came out strong in the second half as they went on to take the lead at the 50 minute mark as Tenn scored off a through ball from freshman
Daniel Utgaard (Kristiansand, Norway).Â
- Late in the game, sophomore
Lukas Szymecki (Wethersfield, Conn.) scored the Owls' third goal, his second in two games, to seal the Owls 3-1 win.
