POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.  -  The Southern Connecticut State University men's swimming and diving team lost to Marist, 183-103, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Max Padro (West Haven, Conn.) won the 100 Yard and 200 Yard Butterfly events and was also part of the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay while Bryce Castellone (South Windsor, Conn.) won the 400 Yard IM.

200 Yard Medley Relay

• Tyler Castellone (South Windsor, Conn.), Drew Dantino (Waterbury, Conn.), Bailey Peters (Rutland, Vt.) and Leo LaPorte (Washingtonville, N.Y.) finished second in the 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:38.75.

1000 Yard Freestyle

• Bryce Castellone was third with a time of 10:01.15 followed by Evan Bombery (Naugatuck, Conn.) in fourth at 10:02.80.

200 Yard Freestyle

• LaPorte captured third in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:48.75 while Tyler Cusano (Hamden, Conn.) was fifth at 1:51.58.

100 Yard Backstroke

• Tyler Castellone picked up three more points for the Owls with a third place finish in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 55.76 while Zachary Fell (Seymour, Conn.) was fifth with a time of 1:00.96.

100 Yard Breaststroke

• Matthew Widlar (Middlebury, Conn.) was fourth with a time of 1:02.48 while Bryce Castellone finished fifth at 1:04.21.

200 Yard Butterfly

• Padro won the 200 Yard Butterfly event with a time of 1:55.58 while John Gaudio (Cheshire, Conn.) was fourth with a time of 2:02.34.

50 Yard Freestyle

• LaPorte touched at 22.59 for second place in the 50 Yard Freestyle just ahead of Greg Rodriguez (Madison, Conn.) in third place at 22.85. Peters picked up a point with a fifth-place finish at 23.15.

100 Yard Freestyle

• Rogriguez posted his second straight third place finish, finishing in 49.87 in the 100 Yard Freestyle event while Cusano picked up another point in fifth place at 51.74.

200 Yard Backstroke

• Tyler Castellone finished fourth in the 200 Yard Backstroke at 2:05.56 while Tyler Steskla (Cheshire, Conn.) was fifth at 2:09.03.

200 Yard Breaststroke

• Dantino finished second in the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:17.04 while Padro finished fourth at 2:26.00. Hunter Cripps () was fifth with a time of 2:38.70.

500 Yard Freestyle

• Graeden Sartoris (South Windsor, Conn.) finished fourth in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 4:54.38 while Fell was fifth at 5:12.68.

100 Yard Butterfly

• The Owls dominated the 100 Yard Butterfly as Padro finished first at 52.62, followed by Peters in second at 53.73 and Scott Moore () in third at 58.32.

400 Yard IM

• Bryce Castellone won the 400 Yard IM at 4:22.25 followed by Wilder at 4:25.25 and Dominic Papiro (Southbury, Conn.) in third at 4:36.38.

200 Yard Freestyle Relay

• Padro, Rodriguez, Cusano and LaPorte teamed to win the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:29.60.
• Fell, Gaudio, Cripps and Steskla were second at 1:34.96.
