The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team will look to bounce back after going 0-2 last week. The Owls prepare to host Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, Jan. 23 for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off at Moore Field House. Next, they Owls will host Bentley on Saturday, Jan. 26 at Moore Field House with the game set to start at 3:30 p.m.

ALL-TIME VS. FRANKLIN PIERCE
The Ravens lead the all-time series against the Owls, 28-18. Southern dropped its last meeting against Franklin going 1-1 over the last two meetings.

ALL-TIME VS. BENTLEY
The Falcons lead the all-time series against the Owls, 24-11. Southern dropped its last meeting against Stonehill going 2-2 over the last four meetings.

THE OWLS' LAST TIME OUT
• The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball teamed dropped an 85-78 decision to the Stonehill Skyhawks.
• Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) led the Owls with 19 points after hitting 7-of-12 from the field and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc while also collecting five rebounds and two assists. 
• C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) collected 14 points after converting on 6-for-9 from the floor. 
• Luke Beesley (Champaign, Ill.) recorded 15 points and eight rebounds in the game. 
• Ulyen Coleman(Brockton, Mass.) registered his first career double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds along with three assists and Kealen Ives (Providence, R.I.) tallied 12 points and five assists.
 
THE OWLS BY THE NUMBERS
 •  Senior Luke Beesley leads the NE10 and ranks 13th nationally with eight double-doubles to date.
 •  Beesley also ranks 16th nationally and leads the NE10 with 9.8 rebounds per game. His 156 total rebounds rank second in the NE10 and 24th nationally.
 •  Kealan Ives' 5.8 assists per game rank fifth in the NE10 and 28th in NCAA Division II basketball. His 104 total assists also rank third in the NE10 and 16th nationally.
 •  Isaiah McLeod ranks fourth in the NE10 and 31st nationally at 21.3 points per game. McLeod is third in the NE10 in three-point field goal percentage (45.6%) while also ranking 24th nationally
 •  As a team, the Owls' 175 three-pointers rank third in the conference and 35th among all DII schools. 

SEAFORTH RED HOT
• C.J. Seaforth broke a career-high in points with 32 shooting 10-for-15 from the floor and 6-for-9 from beyond the arc to lead the Owls. His previous career-high was against Saint Rose on Nov. 14, 2018 were he collected 22.

 
IVES SCORES SEASON-HIGH

 • Kealen Ives broke a career-high in points with 27, this is his second straight game scoring more than 20 points. His previous career-high was set on Jan. 12, 2019 against Southern New Hampshire with 24 points.
 
CHART TOPPER
 •  With his 19 points against the Hawks, McLeod now stands in 10th place with 1,512 career points and trails Tylon Smith 15' for 9th place all-time at SCSU with 1,761.
 
DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE
 •  
Luke Beesley registered his eighth double-double on the season, he is first in the conference and 13th in the nation in double-doubles this year.
