The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team claimed a 100-89 win against Stonehill on Wednesday to end a three-game skid. The Owls will host conference foe Bentley on Saturday, Jan. 26 at Moore Field House with the game set to start at 3:30 p.m.

THE OWLS' LAST TIME OUT
• The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team claimed a 100-89 victory over conference opponent Franklin Pierce at Moore Field House.
• 
Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) collected 21 points on 8-for-16 shooting from the field, nine rebounds, four assists and one steal in the win along with teammate Ulyen Coleman (Brockton, Mass.) who scored 21 as well for the Owls on 7-for-12 from the field, grabbed six rebounds and one assist.

Kealen Ives (Providence, R.I.) recorded his second double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 assists on the night, shooting 6-for-10 from the field and 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, while also tallying four rebounds and one steal. 
• 
C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) registered 19 points along with three rebounds, two assists and one steal. 
• 
Taurus Adams II(Milwaukee, Wisc.) had 10 points and five rebounds for the Owls.
 
THE OWLS BY THE NUMBERS
 •  Senior Luke Beesley leads the NE10 and ranks 16th nationally with eight double-doubles to date.
 •  Beesley also ranks 21th nationally and leads the NE10 with 9.5 rebounds per game. His 161 total rebounds rank second in the NE10 and 25th nationally.
 •  Kealan Ives' 6.0 assists per game rank fourth in the NE10 and 18th in NCAA Division II basketball. His 114 total assists also rank third in the NE10 and 13th nationally.
 •  Isaiah McLeod ranks fourth in the NE10 and 31st nationally at 21.3 points per game. McLeod is third in the NE10 in three-point field goal percentage (45.4%) while also ranking 26th nationally
 •  As a team, the Owls' 190 three-pointers rank third in the conference and 22th among all DII schools. 

COLEMAN HITS FIRST CAREER DOUBLE-DOUBLE

Ulyen Coleman recorded his first double-double of his collegiate career, including a career-high in rebounds with 14 on Jan. 19 against Stonehill.

SEAFORTH RED HOT
• 
C.J. Seaforth broke a career-high in points with 32 shooting 10-for-15 from the floor and 6-for-9 from beyond the arc to lead the Owls. His previous career-high was against Saint Rose on Nov. 14, 2018 were he collected 22.

 IVES SCORES SEASON-HIGH
 •
Kealen Ives broke a career-high in points with 27, this is his second straight game scoring more than 20 points. His previous career-high was set on Jan. 12, 2019 against Southern New Hampshire with 24 points.

 • With his 21-points against Franklin Pierce, McLeod now stands in 10th place all-time with 1,533 career points and trails 
Tylon Smith '15 for 9th place all-time at SCSU with 1,761.
