The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team were undefeated against two conference opponents last week. The Owls will head to Worcester, Mass. on Tuesday, Jan. 29 for a 7:30 p.m. matchup with Assumption College at Laska Gymnasium. Then, they well travel to Colchester, Vt. on Feb. 2 to play conference opponent Saint Michael's College at the Ross Sports Center with tip-off set for 3:30 p.m.

The Greyhounds lead the all-time series against the Owls, 30-19. Southern has recorded four wins over the Greyhounds last four meetings.

The Purple Knights lead the all-time series against the Owls, 19-15. The Owls have registered four wins over the Greyhounds last four meetings.

THE OWLS' LAST TIME OUT
• The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball squad defeated No. 24 Nationally Ranked Bentley University, 100-88 at Moore Field House
• Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) collected a career-high 33 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists while going 6-for-6 from the free throw line. McLeod's seven three-pointers were also a season high.  
• Kealan Ives (Providence, R.I.) notched a career-high 29 points and a game-high eight assists, while going a perfect 12-for-12 from the charity stripe. 
• C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) collected 22 points, five assists and a game-high four steals.
• The Owls were also a perfect 24-for-24 from the free throw line, which stands as the most free throws in a game without a miss in program history. 
 
THE OWLS BY THE NUMBERS
 •  Senior Luke Beesley leads the NE10 and ranks 17th nationally with eight double-doubles to date.
 •  Beesley also ranks 22th nationally and leads the NE10 with 9.5 rebounds per game. His 161 total rebounds rank second in the NE10 and 29th nationally.
 •  Kealan Ives' 6.0 assists per game rank fourth in the NE10 and 18th in NCAA Division II basketball. His 114 total assists also rank third in the NE10 and 13th nationally.
 •  Isaiah McLeod ranks fourth in the NE10 and 30st nationally at 21.3 points per game. McLeod is third in the NE10 in three-point field goal percentage (45.4%) while also ranking 25th nationally
 •  As a team, the Owls' 190 three-pointers rank third in the conference and 26th among all DII schools. 

MAKING HISTORY
• The Owls' 24-for-24 showing at the free throw line is the most free throws without a miss in a game in program history. It is also the second time that SCSU shot 20-or-more free throws in a game without a miss and the first time since the Owls were 20-for-20 at the charity stripe against Pace on Nov. 25, 2014.

CAREER NIGHT FOR THE OWLS
• Isaiah McLeod collected a career-high 33 points. His previous career-high came on Jan. 20, 2018 against Bentley when he had 32.
• Kealen Ives notched a career-high of 29 points. His previous career-high came on Jan. 15 against Saint Anselm when he had 27.
•  C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) collected 22 points, five assists and a career-high four steals.
• This is the second-straight game that the Owls scored 100 points in a game following a 100-89 win against Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, Jan. 23. It is the sixth time in program history that SCSU has scored 100 points in back-to-back games, with the last time coming  during the 2015 season.

 
SEAFORTH RED HOT
• C.J. Seaforth broke a career-high in points with 32 shooting 10-for-15 from the floor and 6-for-9 from beyond the arc to lead the Owls. His previous career-high was against Saint Rose on Nov. 14, 2018 were he collected 22.
 
CHART TOPPER
 •  With his 33 points against the Falcons, McLeod now stands in 10th place with 1,566 career points and trails Tylon Smith 15' for 9th place all-time at SCSU with 1,761.
