Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer will host Franklin Pierce on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 4 p.m. Southern enters the game with a record of 1-3-2 in NE10 play and 2-3-4 overall while Franklin PIerce is 6-2-1 overall and 4-1-0 in conference action.

THE OWLS' LAST TIME OUT
The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team was dealt a 2-0 loss by University of New Haven in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup at Kathy Zolad Stadium on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

ALL-TIME AGAINST FRANKLIN PIERCE
Southern's all-time record against Franklin Pierce isn't nearly as lopsided as their run against UNH. The Owls own a 21-14-7 record against FPU all-time, including a 4-2-1 record over their last seven games.

NOTES
Daniel Utgaard's goal against Adelphi put him in a tie for the most on the Owls' roster with Francisco Roldan.
• Utgaard, Roldan, Devante Teixeira and Juan Avila give the Owls four players with multiple goals this season.
• Teixeira also leads the Owls with four assists to go along with his two goals for a team-high eight points to date.
Kevin Van der Pol's assist on Utgaard's header against Adelphi was his second of the season.
Andrey Carvalho's .840 save percentage leads all NE10 goalkeepers and ranks 16th among all NCAA Division I keepers.
• Teixeira's four assists also lead all NE10 student-athletes.

UP NEXT
The Owls will travel to Bridgeport on Wednesday, Oct. 16 for its final non-conference tilt of the season. The Owls will then return home for its Homecoming matchup against Saint Anselm with Senior Day festivities to be held prior to the start of the game.
