The Southern Connecticut men's soccer team will return to action this week with a pair of the Northeast 10 contests on the road – first heading to Bentley on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and then Southern New Hampshire on Saturday, Nov. 2.

THE OWLS ALL-TIME AGAINST BENTLEY
  • Southern and Bentley have faced each other 33 times since 1984, with the Owls owning a 25-4-4 record in the all-time series.
  • Bentley won the first meeting between the two teams in 1984 before the Owls ran off a 23-game unbeaten streak from 1986 through 2011 with a record of 21-0-2 against the Falcons in that span.
  • Since then, the series has been even, 4-4-0, while the Owls are 2-0-1 in their last three meetings against the Falcons.
THE OWLS ALL-TIME AGAINST SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE
  • The Owls will face Southern New Hampshire in the 53rd meeting between the two teams in a series that dates back to 1982.
  • The Owls are 35-16-9 all-time against the Penmen, but have won just twice (2007, 2017) in the last 15 games against SNHU.
NOTES
  • Devante Teixeria leads Southern in assists (4) and points (8) and is one of four players with multiple goals this season.
  • Daniel Utgaard and Francisco Roldan have both scored three times this season while Juan Avila has added two goals and an assist.
  • Kevin Van der Pol and Tomas Terrugi have both scored once and dished out two assists, each, while Blaise Haba has a goal and an assist for the year.
