The Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team will hit the road for a three-game stint of Northeast 10 contests. First, on Tuesday, Oct. 29 the Owls will travel to Garden City, N.Y. for a match against Adelphi. Then, they'll play back-to-back days of games against Saint Michael's on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saint Anselm on Saturday, Nov. 2. These are three crucial conference matches for SCSU as the Owls, who sit 10th in the conference look to climb the standings, while the Panthers sit sixth, the Purple Knights sit 14th and the Hawks sit fifth in the NE10.

All-Time vs. Adelphi
  • The Owls are 3-25 all-time against the Panthers. This is a rematch from last year's opening round of the NCAA DII Tournament, where the Panthers defeated the Owls 3-0.
 
All-Time vs. Saint Michael's
  • The Owls are 14-10 all-time against the Purple Knights. The last time these two teams faced each other was on November 3 at Pelz Gymnasium when the Owls swept the Purple Knights.
 
All-Time vs. Saint Anselm
  • The Owls are 13-11 all-time against the Hawks. The last time these two teams faced each other was in the NE10 Tournament Semifinals, where the Owls defeated the Hawks 3-1 to earn a spot in the finals.

Last Time Out
  • The Owls fell to Franklin Pierce, 3-1 on Oct. 26.
  • Jillian Chambers' 29 digs against Franklin Pierce were high a career-high. Her previous career-high was 20 against Bentley on Sept. 29, 2018.
  • Abigail Epstein has tallied double-digit kills in four-straight games, collecting 12 against Franklin Pierce. She has also collected a block in each of her last five games.
  • Jennifer Dawson, who nabbed 10 digs during the match, has tallied double-digit digs in seven of her last eight games.
  • This was the fourth time this season Anna Venard has tallied more than 20 digs in a game. Her last 20-dig game was on Oct. 18 against Bentley when she had 27.
  • Tea Carter has collected 30 or more assists in 14 games this season and in eight of her last nine matches.

Notes
  • Ella White currently leads Southern in kills (204) and kills per set (2.68) while also collected 22 service aces for the year.
  • Abigail Epstein is leads the team with a .264 hitting percentage while accumulating 186 kills for a 2.45 per set average.
  • Epstein is also tied for second on the team with 22 service aces and leads the team in total blocks (41).
  • Jennifer Dawson currently leads the Owls with 35 service aces while also averaging 1.34 kills per set and 3.24 digs per set.
  • Tea Carter has dished out 620 assists to date for a 9.25 per set average. Carter is also tied for second on the Owls' roster with 22 service aces.
  • Anna Venard leads the Owls with 319 digs for a 4.20 per set average.
  • Ariel Letcher is fourth on the team in kills (126) and third in kills per set (2.21) and is also averaging 2.33 digs per set.
