The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team will travel to Caldwell, N.J. to take on the Caldwell University Cougars of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.

All-Time vs. Caldwell
  • The Owls are 3-2 all-time against the Cougars in a matchup that has been played in every season since 2014. The Owls took the first two matchups in 2014 and 2015, and won at home last season, 81-69. C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) had a game-high 18 points on 6-13 shooting, while Mikey Mozzicato (Wethersfield, Conn.) had a career-high 13 points on 5-8 shooting and 3-5 from three-point range in the game.

  • The Owls went 1-1 at the Bridgeport Crossover Challenge to begin their season. 
  • In the final game of the challenge against Goldey-Beacom on Nov. 10, the Owls came back from down 56-41 in the final 11 minutes to win 72-67.
  • Southern's 15-point comeback was their largest comeback since Nov. 12, 2016, when they also came back from down 15 against Holy Family to win 105-103.
  • Seaforth scored 25 points off the bench and went 10-10 from the free throw line against Goldey- Beacom. 
  • Dating back to last season, Seaforth has now scored at least 25 points in a game in three consecutive games. 
  • Isaiah Boissard (Walden, N.Y.) scored 16 points in back-to-back games to begin his Southern career, with his 16 points against Post University on Nov. 8 a team-high. 
  • Seaforth and Boissard were both named to the NE10 Week One Honor Roll. 
  • Taurus Adams II (Milwaukee, Wisc.) recorded a double-double in the season opener against Post on Nov. 8, scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
