Men's Soccer Falls To Southern New Hampshire

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team lost to Southern New Hampshire, 4-0, in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup in Manchester, N.H. With the loss, the Owls drop to 4-7-4 overall and 3-6-2 in the NE10 while Southern New Hampshire improves to 8-4-3 overall and 6-3-2 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Penmen took a 2-0 lead into halftime behind goals from Alex Satrustegui in the 17th minute and Simon Skogestad in the 24th minute. Sinisa Sprecakovic assisted on Satrustregui's game-opening goal.
  • The second half of play saw the Penmen double their lead on goals by Nadjib Chibout, from Nathan Estrela, in the 55th minute of play before Sprecakovic picked up his second assist of the game on Jannik Mohr's goal in the 62nd minute of play.

UP NEXT
Southern will play its final regular season game on Wednesday, Nov. 6 when it hosts Le Moyne at Jess Dow Field at 2 p.m., with Senior Day festivities scheduled for the start of the game.
