The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team will host the Concordia College Clippers of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference on Nov. 23 at 1 p.m for their home opener.

All-Time vs. Concordia: 9-3
  • These two teams last faced off on Dec. 19, 2018 when the Owls defeated the Clippers 97-76. Three Owls scored in double-figures, led by then senior Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.), who had a double-double with a game high 26 points and 10 rebounds. Ulyen Coleman (Brockton, Mass.) had 24 points and went 5-10 from three-point range and C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) had 15 points.
 
What You Need To Know
  • Five Owls scored in double figures against Queens College, a 75-60 victory, led by senior Taurus Adams II (Milwaukee, Wisc.), who had a team-high with 17 points. Redshirt junior Isaiah Boissard (Walden, N.Y.) had 10 points, junior C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) added 13 points, junior Gregory Jones (Bronx, N.Y.) had 12 points, and junior Khalil Richard (Baltimore, Md.) chipped in 10 points off the bench.
  • Southern had five players score in double figures for the first time this season, and for the first time since last year's Northeast 10 Tournament Quarterfinal matchup against Saint Anselm on March 3, a 97-87 Southern victory.
  • Adams II had 11 rebounds and Boissard had 12 rebounds, marking the first time since last year's Northeast 10 Tournament Quarterfinal matchup against Saint Anselm two Owls had double-doubles in a game.
  • Adams II's double-double was the fifth of his collegiate career and his second of the season (last done against Post University on Nov. 8). Boissard's was his first career collegiate double-double. 
  • Zack Penn (New Hartford, Conn.) also had 10 rebounds off the bench, giving Southern three players with at least 10 rebounds.
  • The last time three Owls had at least 10 rebounds in a game was Nov. 12, 2016 against Holy Family, when Adams II, Jerry Luckett, Jr., and Austin Carter all had double-digit rebounds. 
  • Seaforth and Richard were both named to the NE10 Week Two Honor Roll for their performances last week against Caldwell University, the second consecutive week Seaforth has been recognized.
