The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team are coming off a 73-63 win at Assumption on Tuesday, Jan. 29 and are currently riding a three-game winning streak. The Owls look to keep their run going when they will travel to Colchester, Vt. on Feb. 2 to face Saint Michael's in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup at the Ross Sports Center with tip-off set for 3:30 p.m.

The Purple Knights lead the all-time series against the Owls, 19-15. The Owls have won three-straight games against Saint Michaels, and also three-straight in Colchester, Vt.

THE OWLS' LAST TIME OUT
• The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team defeated Assumption College, 73-63, on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Laska Gymnasium.
• Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) collected a team-high 23 points with five rebounds and one assist. 
• Kealen Ives (Providence, R.I.) scored 20 points, collected a team-high seven assists and grabbed four rebounds. 
• C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) tallied 17 points and a team-high seven rebounds. 
 
THE OWLS BY THE NUMBERS
 •  Senior Luke Beesley is second the NE10 and ranks 22th nationally with eight double-doubles to date.
 •  Beesley also ranks 35th nationally and leads the NE10 with 9.1 rebounds per game. His 161 total rebounds rank second in the NE10 and 29th nationally.
 •  Kealan Ives' 6.1 assists per game rank fourth in the NE10 and 18th in NCAA Division II basketball. His 129 total assists also rank second in the NE10 and 10th nationally.
 •  Isaiah McLeod ranks third in the NE10 and 19th nationally at 22.1 points per game. McLeod is second in the NE10 in three-point field goal percentage (47.0%) while also ranking 9th nationally
G •  As a team, the Owls' 215 three-pointers rank third in the conference and 19th among all DII schools while their 42.0% from three-point territory is first in the conference and third in the nation.

MAKING HISTORY
• The Owls' 24-for-24 showing at the free throw line is the most free throws without a miss in a game in program history. It is also the second time that SCSU shot 20-or-more free throws in a game without a miss and the first time since the Owls were 20-for-20 at the charity stripe against Pace on Nov. 25, 2014.

CAREER NIGHT FOR THE OWLS
• Isaiah McLeod collected a career-high 33 points. His previous career-high came on Jan. 20, 2018 against Bentley when he had 32.
• Kealen Ives notched a career-high of 29 points. His previous career-high came on Jan. 15 against Saint Anselm when he had 27.
•  C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) collected 22 points, five assists and a career-high four steals.
• This is the second-straight game that the Owls scored 100 points in a game following a 100-89 win against Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, Jan. 23. It is the sixth time in program history that SCSU has scored 100 points in back-to-back games, with the last time coming  during the 2015 season.

 
SEAFORTH RED HOT
• C.J. Seaforth scored a career-high 32 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor, that included a 6-for-9 day from beyond the arc, against Saint Anselm on Jan. 15. Seaforth's previous career-high was against Saint Rose on Nov. 14, 2018 when he scored 22.

•
With his 21-points against Assumption, McLeod now stands in 10th place all-time with 1,573 career points and trails Tylon Smith '15 for 9th place all-time at SCSU with 1,761.
