MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team fell to Saint Anselm, 1-0 in overtime, on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup at Melucci Field. The Owls fall to 2-8-1 overall and 2-5-0 in the NE10, while the Hawks improve to 6-6-0 and 3-5-0 in the NE10.
Andrey Carvalho (Aluminio, Sao Paulo, Brazil) recorded four saves in his first start of the season.
Lennox Strelow (Bremen, Germany), Juan Avila (Clinton, Conn.), Matt Surette (Bowie, Md.), and
Raffaele Ciarleglio (Branford, Conn.) all recorded shots on goal for Southern. Saint Anselm's game-winning giak occured in the 93rd minute of play.
