RINDGE, N.H. - The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team fell to No. 1 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce, 7-0, in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup at Sodexo Field in Rindge, N.H. on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021. With the loss, the Owls fall to 2-7-1 overall and 2-4-0 in the NE10, while the Ravens improve to 11-0-0 overall and 7-0-0 in the NE10.
Franklin Pierce jumped out to an early lead with three goals in the first half, then added four more in the final 45 minutes of play.
Juan Alava (Guayaquil, Ecuador), Juan Avila (Clinton, Conn.), Jalen Jean (West Hempstead, N.Y.), and
Matt Surette (Bowie, Md.) all recorded shots, with Avila recording a shot on goal.
