Southern Connecticut men's soccer will host Assumption University for an NE10 conference game on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at Jess Dow Field. The Owls stand at 6-3-3 overall, and are 3-2-2 in the NE10. The Assumption Greyhounds enter at 5-2-3 and are 3-0-3 in conference play. Prior to the start of the game, Southern Connecticut men's soccer will honor Santiago Slapak, Alessio Caradolfo and Andrey Carvalho for Senior Day.

RECENT RECAP
Both SCSU and Assumption are coming off of respective NE10 conference game wins from their last match. Assumption came out on top of Saint Rose, 2-1, on Saturday, Oct. 8, while the Owls beat Saint Michael's, 2-1, on the same date. 

OWL LEADERS
Yannick Hilpert has a striking six goals under his belt for the year after a hat trick against New Haven on Oct. 5, 2022. Hilpert also has converted one assist and leads the table with 13 points for the Owls. Leroy Best falls close behind with 11 points thus far, scoring three goals in the past three games, and has team-high five assists this season. 

UP NEXT
The Owls will travel to Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022. Following that match, the men's soccer team will continue their travels to face American International College in Springfield for a 7 p.m. kickoff on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022.
