Last season, the Owls stunned the Purple Knights, 3-0, in the opening game of Northeast 10 Conference action on Sept. 18, 2021. Juan Alava (Guayaquil, Ecuador), Jalen Jean (West Hempstead, N.Y.), and Leroy Best (Bielefeld, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany) all scored goals for the Owls, while Jean and Arnold Signell (Lidingö, Sweden) both recorded an assist.
