Katie Williamson Named To Northeast 10 Weekly Honor Roll

MANSFIELD, Mass. - Southern Connecticut women's basketball junior Katie Williamson (Dublin, Ireland) was named to the Northeast 10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, Nov. 28.

Williamson posted back-to-back double-doubles in a pair of wins against Dominican, 68-60, and Caldwell, 70-50. Williamson average 10.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. Against Dominican, Williamson had 11 points and 10 rebounds as well as two steals and then followed with a 10 point, 14 rebound outing against Cadwell in which she also blocked three shots.

For the year, Williamson is averaging 11.2 points and a team-leading 6.8 rebounds per game while also leading the team with eight blocks.

Southern is back in action on Wednesday, Nov. 30 when it hosts Pace for a Northeast 10 Conference matchup at James Moore Field House at 5:30 p.m.
