No. 7 seeded Southern Connecticut will travel to Waltham, Mass. to take on No. 2 seed Bentley in a Northeast 10 Conference Championship Quarterfinals matchup on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. Southern enters tournament play with a record of 16-14 while Bentley is 23-5 on the season.

Tickets for the NE10 Tournament Quarterfinals can be purchased through Bentley's ticket portal, and are $10 for adults and $5 for students.

The Owls All-Time Against Bentley
  • Southern is 5-29 all-time against Bentley.
  • This is the third-straight season that the Owls will face the Falcons in the NE10 Quarterfinals. Bentley defeated the Owls in the NE10 Quarters in 2019 and 2021 with both matches going four sets.

  • Gabriella Gaibur is one of two student-athletes in the NE10 with 300 kills to date as she ranks second with 310.
  • She also ranks seventh with 3.23 kills per set.
  • Gaibur has also totaled 325 digs, making her the only player in the NE10 with 300 kills and 300 digs.
  • Her 347 points rank fifth in the NE10 and at 3.6 points per set, is one of eight players to average 3.5 points per set for the year.
  • Sara Enright checks in 10th place in the conference with 291.5 points for the season.
  • Enright totaled 252 kills at a 2.42 average for the year, while also posting 330 digs at a 3.17 average.
  • Southern is the only team in the NE10 with two players totaling 250 kills and 300 digs in Gaibur and Enright.
  • Payton Reis had a break-out season for the Owls with 232 points.
  • Reis totaled 179 kills at a 1.86 per set average and ranked 5th in the NE10 with 81 blocks.
  • Reis' 23 solo blocks ranked third while her 58 assisted ranked sixth.
  • Taylor Jones finished the season with 545 assists, good for 8th in the NE10, while her 6.57 assists per set also ranked 10th.
  • Heliceliz Rivera was the only player in the conference to total 150 kills, 150 assists and 150 digs.
  • Her two triple doubles this season make her the second player in program history, and one of 17 in the country this year, to accomplish the feat.
