MANSFIELD, Mass. - Southern Connecticut's 4x400 Relay Team were named as the Northeast 10 Relay of the Week, while Cameron Belton (Baltic, Conn.) and Hunter Dale (Storrs, Conn.) were named to the Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the NE10 on Dec. 13, 2022.
The 4x400 Relay Team of Hunter Dale, Christ N'Dabian (Bridgeport, Conn.), Eli Henry (Stratford, Conn.) and Ramsley Exantus (Stratford, Conn.) took the event with a time of 3:14.76, a NCAA provisional qualifying time. The time was also the top mark in NCAA Division II indoor track this season, and the fifth-fastest among all divisions.
At the Yale Season Opener, competing against an all NCAA Division I field, Cameron Belton finished second out of 16 athletes in the Shot Put, posting a distance of 16.19m to earn Weekly Honors. It was also the 10th longest of the season, nationally, to date.
Competing against NCAA Division I competition at the Yale Seasn Opener, Hunter Dale took first place in the 500 Meter Run with a time of 1:05.49, which was the second-fastest Division II time, nationally, this season to earn Weekly Honors. Dale was also on the 4x400 Relay team that won the event at Yale and also posted the fastest time in Division II and the fifth-fastest in all divisions.
