Southern Connecticut men's basketball will travel to Bloomfield, N.J. to take on Bloomfield College in a non-conference matchup on Monday, Dec. 19 at 4 p.m. at Bloomfield College Gym. Southern is coming off a 64-56 non-conference win against Holy Family in Philadelphia, Pa. on Saturday, Dec. 17. Cherif Diarra (Queens, N.Y.) recorded his second-straight career double-double, finishing with 14 points and 14 rebounds as well as three assists. Ulyen Coleman (Brockton, Mass.) scored a game-high 15 points, all within the second half, adding on four rebounds. Kazell Stewart (East Hartford, Conn.) notched 11 points and recorded seven rebounds, while Sean James (West Hartford, Conn.) had a team-best six assists and converted on eight points. Marty Silvera (Worcester, Mass.) also converted on 4-of-9 from the field and went 1-of-4 from three-point range to total with 10 points. Zack Penn (New Hartford, Conn.) had six points, three rebounds and one assist.
