Southern Connecticut men's basketball will host American International College in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup on Saturday, Dec. 31 at 3:30 p.m. at the James Moore Fieldhouse. The Owls enter the game with a record of and 8-4 overall and 3-2 in NE10 play while the Yellow Jackets are 4-9 overall and 2-3 in the NE10.

The Owls' Last Time Out
Southern is coming off an 84-56 non-conference win against Mercy College in New Haven, Conn. on Thursday, Dec. 29. The Owls are now on a five-game winning streak, the most consistent wins since the 2018-19 season. Sean James (West Hartford, Conn.) recorded a personal-best 22 points, going 6-of-10 from the three-point line. James scored 17 of his 22 points in the first half including all of his three-pointers. Zack Penn (New Hartford, Conn.) notched his first double-double of the season where he scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Marty Silvera (Worcester, Mass.) had a team-best eight assists and also notched five points. Ulyen Coleman (Brockton, Mass.) recorded 19 points and five rebounds. Leo Chaikin (South Hero, Vt.) scored nine points and took down four rebounds.

- Ulyen Coleman leads the Owls with 13.8 points. He also records 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
- Cherif Diarra notches 7.2 points per game on average along with a team-best 7.8 rebounds.
- Kazell Stewart averages ten points and 4.9 rebounds.
