Owls Notes
  • The Owls will look to build off its 2021-22 season that saw Southern Connecticut capture its 14th Northeast 10 Conference Championship, all-time.
  • Chandler Tucker returns as the Owls' top swimmer after earning NE10 Swimmer of the Year honors, as selected by the conference coaches. Tucker was also the Swimmer of the Meet at the 2022 NE10 Championships after an incredible five-gold, two-silver medal performance, including his second-straight 200 IM title.
  • Tucker also won gold with the 800 Freestyle Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay teams while also winning the 100 and 200 Back individual championships.
  • The Owls also return Franklin Kuhn, McCalister Milne, Henry Velazquez and Kobe Dominguez, all of whom won multiple medals to help the Owls to the conference title.
  • Kuhn won three gold medals, two bronze and two silver, including championship performances in the 800 Free Relay, 200 Free Relay and the 200 Freestyle.
  • Milne captured five medals, including three gold in the 800 Free Relay, 200 Free Relay and 400 IM while also being part of the silver-medal winning 200 and 400 Medley Relay teams.
  • Velazquez won a gold medal in the 800 Free Relay and then silver in the 500 Free, 400 Medley Relay and bronze in the 200 Medley Relay.
  • Dominguez took home two medals with third-place finishes in the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Back.
