Southern Connecticut men's swimming & diving returns to action from the Winter Break to take on Marist in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 1 p.m.

Owls Notes

Southern is back in action for the first time in over month. The last time the Owls' hit the pool was against Pace on Dec. 9. Southern won that meet, 134-96.
That week also saw the Owls compete against Yale.
For their efforts in their last action before the break, the Owls swept the Northeast 10 Conference Weekly Awards.
McAllistar Milne (Glastonbury, Conn.) was named the Swimmer of the Week, Matheus Silva (Stratford, Conn.) was honored as Diver of the Week, Samir Souidi (Lynbrook, N.Y.) was named the Rookie of the Week, Chandler Tucker (Bellmore, N.Y.) was named to the Weekly Honor Roll, and the Relay of the Week was awarded to the team of Chandler Tucker, McAllistar Milne, Henry Velazquez (Fairfield, Conn.) and Franklin Kuhn (Tolland, Conn.) as announced by the NE10 on Dec. 13, 2022.
Franklin Kuhn owns the Owls' top times in three events with a 22.04 in the 50 Free, a 47.35 in the 100 Free and a 1:43.70 in the 200 Free.
McAllistar Milne has the top times in the 500 Free at 4:40.13 and the 1,000 Free at 9:44.46, as well as the 400 IM at 4:01.28.
Chandler Tucker has paced the Owls in the 100 Breast with a top time of 58.87 and the 200 IM with a time of 1:56.56.
Tucker also owns the second-best 200 Free time at 1:44.71.
Henry Velazquez's 1:55.73 against Iona is the Owls' top time in the 200 Fly while JD Starkey posted a 53.80 against Yale in the 100 Back for the top time this season.
Dylan Prescher has the second-best time in the 500 Free at 4:54.91 and the 1,000 Free at 10:12.25.
