Southern Connecticut men's swimming and diving will face a pair of Northeast 10 Conference foes this weekend when it hosts Adelphi on Friday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. at Hutchinson Natatorium before traveling to Albany, N.Y. on Sunday, Jan. 15 to take on Saint Rose.

Owls Notes
  • On Wednesday, Jan. 11 at Marist, McAllistar Milne (Glastonbury, Conn.) won two events while Chandler Tucker (Bellmore, N.Y.) also picked up a win. Franklin Kuhn (Tolland, Conn.) finished in the top three in three events. 
  • McAllistar Milne won the 1,650 Yard Freestyle event with a time of 16:24.31, well ahead of Marist's top swimmer at 17:00.78. Milne's time is also the fastest in the Northeast 10 Conference to date.
  • Milne won his second event of the afternoon, tying Marist's Caden Hardy with a time of 59.99 in the 100 Breaststroke. Milne's time is his second fastest of the season and ranks ninth in the NE10 this year.
  • Franklin Kuhn finished second in a close race in the 200 Yard Freestyle event with a time of 1:44.75, trailing the leader at 1:44.05. Kuhn's time was the seventh-fastest of the season in the NE10.
  • He was also second in the 100 Yard Freestyle event with a time of 48.09. Kuhn's time ranks ninth for the year in the conference.
  • Chandler Tucker was third in the 50 Yard Backstroke with a time of 24.57. Tucker's time is the third-fastest of the season in the conference. He currently holds down the two of the top three times, including a conference best 23.99 on Dec. 9, 2022.
  • Tucker picked up a win in the 500 Yard Freestyle event with a time of 4:45.51. Dylan Prescher (Ellington, Conn.) gave the Owls two of the top three spots in the event with a third-place finish at 4:55.44.  Tucker's time is the third-fastest this season in the NE10, while Milne holds the top spot with a time of 4:40.13 on Dec. 8.
