Tailgate Tour
The SCSU Blue Crew's Tailgate Tour continues on Wednesday night when the Owls meet the Dolphins. The Owls' student fan group will be giving out FREE PIZZA and hats to any SCSU students in attendance. 
 
Owl Notes
  • Southern will look to bounce back from a loss at rival University of New Haven and enter Wednesday night's matchup with a conference record of 5-4.
  • Against UNH, Isabella Santoro (Durham, Conn.) had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead the Owls while Katie Williamson (Dublin, Ireland) had six points and seven boards.
  • Santoro shot a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range.
  • For the week, Santoro averaged a team-high 16.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week. Against St. Michael's, she totaled 15 points and 12 rebounds in a 67-48 win while knocking down 3-of-4 from three-point range and 6-of-7 from the floor. Against New Haven, she had a team-high 18 points, shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range, and collected seven rebounds.
  • For the year, the transfer from Stonehill is averaging 10.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game and is shooting 53.3% (17-33) from three-point range, including 9-for-16 over her last four games.
  • Zoe Amalbert leads the Owls with 13 points per game as well as a team-leading 4.9 assists and 1.6 steals per contest, while also averaging 4.3 rebounds per game.
  • Katie Williamson averages 11.3 points and a team-high 5.6 rebounds per contest while also leading the team with a block per game.
  • Delaney Connors checks-in with 8.9 points and 4.9 rebounds as well as 4.0 assists per contest.
 
Scouting Le Moyne
  • Le Moyne comes to New Haven with a record of 11-5 overall and 6-4 in conference play, tied for AIC in fourth place, just ahead of the Owls.
  • The Dolphins have been hot as of late, winning six of their last seven games and three of their last four in conference play.
  • Lytoya Baker leads the Dolphins with 12.9 points per game while also leading the NE10 with 11.8 rebounds per contest.
  • Kaia Goode sits at 9.8 points per game with three assists per contest.
  • Sydney Lusher leads the team with 3.6 assists per game while averaging 7.8 points.
