Southern Connecticut women's basketball will play the first of back-to-back road games in Manchester, N.H. when they take on Saint Anselm on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 1:30 p.m. at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium. The Owls enter the weekend with a record of 10-6 overall and 5-5 in NE10 play while Saint Anselm will host the Owls with a record of 7-10 overall and 3-8 in conference play.

Owls Notes
  • Southern will look to bounce back from back-to-back losses to New Haven and Le Moyne, which was the first time the Owls lost two-straight this season.
  • Against Le Moyne, Delaney Connors (West Hartford, Conn.) had 19 points, connecting on 6-of-8 from the floor and an incredible 5-for-5 from three-point range.
  • Zoe Amalbert (Nanuet, N.Y.) had 16 points and eight assists while Katie Williamson (Dublin, Ireland) had 18 points and six rebounds. 
  • Renza Milner (Carlsbad, Calif.) had a game-high 12 rebounds with six points and two steals.
  • For the year, Amalbert leads the Owls in points (13.2), assists (5.1) and steals (1.6) per game while also averaging 4.0 rebounds per contest.
  • Amalbert also leads the NE10 in assists (81) while ranking 27th nationally and assists per game, which ranks 16th in NCAA Division II women's basketball.
  • Williamson checks in with 11.8 points per game as well as a team-high 7.2 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per contest.
  • Isabella Santoro is averaging 10 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest while shooting a team-best .486 (17-35) from three-point range. Santoro has hit seven of her last 10 three-pointers.
  • Connors checks-in with 9.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
  • As a team, Southern leads the NE10 with 15.5 assists per game, which also ranks 41st nationally.

  • Gabby Turco leads Saint Anselm with 16.5 points per game while averaging 5.8 rebounds and a team-high 3.4 assists per game.
