NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut volleyball fell to NE10 opponent, Southern New Hampshire University, 3-0 on Friday night. The Owls dropped to an overall record of 11-14, and a conference record of 1-7. The Penmen improved to an overall record 10-8 and a conference record of 4-2.
First-year
Carissa Michel led the team with 11 kills as
Sara Enright followed closely behind with nine kills and
Kendall Webber recorded four kills against Southern New Hampshire.
Aubrey Villena had a team-best of 11 digs, while
Ahunna James had eight digs and
Sara Enright added six digs of her own.
Lily Miller led the team with 23 assists and a service ace while
Aubrey Villena and
Dylan Marney each had one assist.
Sarah Stark led the team with two blocks as
Ahunna James and
Sara Enright had a block of their own against the Penmen.
Volleyball returns to action in Pelz Gym on Sunday, Oct. 29 for Senior Day, where they will play against Molloy University in a non-conference matchup at 12:00 p.m.
