SCSU Men's Basketball Cruises Past Mercy University, 84-54

SCSU Men's Basketball delivered a dominant 30-point win against Mercy University, 84-54, pushing their record to 3-0 on the season. This win marks the largest margin of victory for the Owls in over two years. 
 
Josh McGettigan was once again a force for the Owls finishing as the team's leading scorer with 27 points, on 10-13 shooting , a season high for McGettigan . McGettigan has quickly established himself as a major component of the Owls offense as he has finished top two in scoring in each of the Owl's three wins. Sean James also found himself in the mix finishing second in scoring with 15 points. Marty Silvera, coming off winning NE10 offensive player of the week also played a crucial role in the runaway win, finishing with a game high eight assists.
 
The Owls will be back on the road  for their next match up against Assumption University for their first conference game of the season. The game will played on Saturday November 18th at 1PM in Worcester, Ma.
